The Deadbolt Mystery Society was started by brothers, Shawn and Jason Brannon. Lifelong lovers of mystery and horror, the brothers sought to make the best mystery boxes they could, taking the knowledge they had from their companion business, Deadbolt Escape Rooms, and transitioning it into a mystery that could be solved at home. From a scrappy team of two, they’ve built the brand you’re reading about now.

Here at DMS, we’re always thinking up the creepiest, weirdest, and most intriguing stories that we can for our bestselling mystery boxes, but we’re not stopping there. We believe in the saying, “Leave no stone unturned.” You’ve enjoyed our monthly subscription boxes, but we feel there is so much more to be explored. Our goal with The Deadbolt Dispatch is to expand on the boxes and bring additional content your way, exploring the nooks and crannies of Valley Falls. If you’re down for the ride, we’re happy to have you riding shotgun with us - as long as you’re good with our playlist, which primarily consists of 80s rock. Think of it a bit like the soundtrack for Supernatural - a favorite show amongst our creators.
